Unter den Linden is a truly a major tourist attraction when visiting the city of Berlin. The word “Unter den Linden” in English translates to “under the linden trees“. The place also has a high historical importance, in the year 1647, many Linden trees were planted and as time progressed it became one the most beautiful gardens of Berlin. It extends all the way from from Pariser Platz at the Brandenburg Gate up til the Schlossbrücke Bridge. Over the years, different changes have been made to beautify the place.
